After Demolishing Kangana Ranaut's Office, BMC Issues Fresh Notice To Actress' Housing Society Asking For Details - REPORTS
As per Republic, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is said to have issued notice to the housing society of Kangana Ranaut's bungalow asking for the details of the past three years
On September 9, Kangana Ranaut returned to Mumbai from Manali. However, before she even touched down Mumbai, BMC officials carried out the demolition work at her bungalow/office citing that the actress carried out some illegal alterations to the property. Her lawyers then got an order from the High Court asking BMC to put the demolition work on hold. Now, as per a report in Republic, it has been revealed that the BMC has issued notice to the housing society of Kangana's bungalow asking for details.
The report suggests that the BMC has sent a notice to the Chetak Society and have sought details of all the main members. A list of all cooperative partners has also been asked. Apart from these, BMC has asked society to share the details of the meetings held in the past three years, account details of the past three years and more.
This move of demolishing Kangana's office by BMC came after the actress got in a tiff with the leaders of Maharashtra Government on social media. The Manikarnika actress had called out Mumbai Police with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and stated she feels unsafe in the city which did not go down well with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Later, Kangana also compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
Now, Kangana is said to have filed a petition in high court seeking compensation for the damage that has been caused to her office. She is seeking RS 2 crore from BMC. She had also met the Governor of Maharashtra to discuss the same.
Meanwhile, Kangana along with her sister Rangoli has traveled back to Manali. (Also Read: Kangana Ranaut Makes PoK Reference AGAIN As She Leaves Mumbai; Says Constant Attacks Made Her Feel 'Analogy About PoK Was Bang On')
